Dr Pezhman Hafez

Doctor of Medicine with a PhD in Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine, Dr. Pezhman had been working in the Cardiothoracic Surgery field for more than five years. Having a medical background and working in research laboratories, surrounded by scientists, was an impetus for him to implement his comprehensive knowledge in a variety of matters from lab to clinical applications of stem cells. It has also enabled him to bring new insight into Yakin Splendour company by mingling research and the market requirement into a reliable product, which does not stand far away from an ever-rising need of an individual. It is noteworthy to mention that he directed his PhD project towards rescuing Ischemic Cardiac Cells by using Mesenchymal Stem Cells. Moreover, he is a member of the Malaysian Tissue Engineering Association (TESMA). Notably, he has been assigned as a reviewer for national and international journals in the field of medicine and regenerative medicine and received a few awards as a best oral presenter in national and international conferences.
